There is already an unhelpful lack of public understanding of this serious disorder which affects one per cent of the population. I fully sympathise with the other views expressed in your piece but it seems that you have a misconception with regard to the debilitating condition called schizophrenia. It has many and varied symptoms but ‘two identities’ is not one of them. You do sufferers a great disservice by misrepresenting their symptoms.
