During the aftermath of the Boston Tea Party came our independence from the motherland, i.e. Great Britain. Why was the fight for independence necessary? Because our freedoms were be squelched and our rights not respected. We fought to have the right to assemble, the right to free speech and other rights. We fought for those rights under a banner of righteousness that came from God Almighty. All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory...we know that from Ephesians. But, we cannot and must not allow our government to take a position that endorses sinful killing. Furthermore, that same government cannot be allowed to sweep away an individual's personal conviction to not kill an unborn child by directing him or her to perform an abortion in the very hospital instituion that they have chosen to work at. I am not Catholic, I attend a Baptist church. But I stand beside those who would keep hospital doors open while defying a B. Hussein Obama decision to force abortions through FOCA at institutions run by the church or supported by religious instituions. Thank you, Roman Catholic bishops, for your conviction to principle.
