Ziegelbauer Stripped of Chairmanship Because of Late-Term Abortion Vote

The next time you hear there are no pro-life Democrats, remember Rep. Bob Ziegelbauer of Manitowoc. Ziegelbauer was stripped of his chairmanship of the prestigious Assembly Ways and Means Committee by Speaker Mike Sheridan. Why? Because Ziegelbauer voted against a procedural maneuver by the Assembly Democratic leadership to kill a vote on an amendment to the state budget which would have prohibited the performance of late-term abortions at UW Hospital and Clinics and its affiliated entities.

Bravo Bob! He is proud to have stood up for what is right — prohibiting the dismemberment of fully-formed babies rather than retaining his chairmanship. A true hero for life!

Rep. Peggy Krusick also voted as Ziegelbauer did. One wonders what the pro-abortion lobby will ask Sheridan to do about her.
