Washington Post Gushes Over Late-Term Abortionist Carhart
LeRoy Carhart is one of the nation’s most notorious late-term abortionists. His idol? The late George Tiller who never encountered an abortion too late in pregnancy to be performed. Carhart was essentially run out of Nebraska, where he practiced his deadly trade, by a new Nebraska law which prohibits abortions after 20 weeks.
Carhart told Rob Stein of the Washington Post he was looking to set up his late-term abortion practice in a state that would have “more favorable” laws and promised “we’re going to do the maximum the law allows.” He settled on Germantown, Maryland because Maryland has some of the least-restrictive laws in the nation and is near three airports, the Post reports.
The Post article further states that Carhart “provides about 60 abortions per month in Germantown; of that total, about six to 10 are provided later in pregnancy….Most of the abortions Carhart performs are between the 18th and 24th weeks of pregnancy. If the medical situation warrants, he can perform one as late as 32 weeks.”
Carhart clearly does not deserve the title of “doctor,” as his means of earning a living makes even some of the most hardened pro-abortionists flinch. Too bad the Post doesn’t recognize how badly Carhart degrades human life and sullies the people of Maryland.
