Offensive. Tacky. Demeaning. Disgusting. Vulgar. How much lower can the campaign tactics of Obama and his BFFs go?

“Vote like your lady parts depend on it…. Because they kinda do.”

Found on the Obama 2012 campaign’s official home on Tumblr, this atrocious ad is obviously referring to women’s reproductive parts. Really? Is that the sum of what women have become – their “body parts”? What happened to the true and revered attributes we hold for women? Attributes like nurturing, compassionate, caring, loving. After massive criticism of this crude ad, the image was removed and the Obama campaign claims it did not officially approve the visual.

NARAL Follows by Jumping Off the Same Cliff

Continuing the theme of reducing women to reproductive “body parts,” the President’s BFFs at NARAL showed up at a pre-debate rally in Denver with an activist dressed in a vagina costume.

One of the NARAL groupies tweeted “@NARAL & @NARALColorado as well as a delightful pro-choice vagina, are en route to the debates!”

Is there no embarrassment at such vulgar tactics? No shame?
