In commemoration of the 55 million lives of unborn children lost to abortion since the Roe v. Wade decision 40 years ago, Wisconsin Right to Life announces a profound, solemn Concert for Life. The concert will take place on Friday, January 11 at 6:45pm in the 3,000-seat main auditorium at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Two world-class musical acts will appear on the Concert for Life stage: The Grammy-nominated Christian rock band Sanctus Real and Country Music star and outspoken right-to-life advocate Collin Raye. Collin Raye has had 21 singles reach the Billboard Top 10 chart and has sold over eight million albums including his four Number 1 hits.
Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Donald J. Hying, will open the Concert for Life with prayer. Participants will join together in reflection and prayer to remember the lost and injured. We will lift our spirits in song as we recognize the tireless efforts made by the right-to-life community to reverse the tragedy that is Roe v. Wade. This commemoration is not a fund-raiser and will not be political.
