Saving the Lives of Babies - Protecting the Health of Women

1. Eliminate Taxpayer Dollars for Planned Parenthood and other organizations that provide and promote abortion. Planned Parenthood "counsels" women and then refers them to their own abortion clinics where they perform abortions for profit. Planned Parenthood also "counsels" minors and keeps it secret from parents. Planned Parenthood must not receive one more penny of our tax dollars to carry out its disgraceful activities. Wisconsin Right to Life is at the forefront of bringing this goal to fruition.

2. The Coercive and Webcam Abortion Prevention Act will save the lives of babies and protect the health of women. Authored by Senator Mary Lazich and Representative Michelle Litjens, the Coercive and Webcam Abortion Prevention Act will do the following:
   
   

   • Require abortionists to tell a woman seeking abortion that no one can coerce her to abort and assist pregnant women in abusive situations to find help.
     
     
   • Prohibit web-cam RU-486 chemical abortions.

Obamacare Opt-Out will permit Wisconsin to opt-out of abortion coverage in state healthcare exchanges set up by Obamacare. Senator Rich Zipperer (R-Pewaukee) and Representative Robin Vos (R-Racine) are the authors of legislation to accomplish the opt-out for Wisconsin.

Repeal Sex Education Law that was passed last session while the legislature was in the hands of pro-abortion leadership. The law will not permit public school districts to teach an abstinence-only approach to pregnancy prevention. Legislation is being developed that would repeal the objectionable portions of the law and restore, among other things, the ability of school districts to present an abstinence-only approach.


Stop the Personhood Amendment that is being widely discussed in pro-life circles. Enactment of the so-called "Personhood" Amendment to the Wisconsin State Constitution is a threat to the protection of Wisconsin unborn children. To find out why, read the analysis below.
